Getting Goosebumps at the Myrtles Plantation
Okay, so Laurie and her crew set out on a ghosthunting expedition this past Tuesday, September 19. While the stars didn't align for me to join the posse at the plantation (yes, it was my birthday and I would have liked nothing better than to have been selected to get the bejeezus scared out of me along with Ms. Kendrick and her ghost hunting marauders), several lucky winners had the opportunity to venture to one of the most notoriously haunted houses in America. Ummmmm, I'm feeling goosebumpy...
Anyway, I think the show was broadcast live on Tuesday night (which naturally I missed because I was out painting the town, celebrating another glorious year), but the show should be rebroadcast this Saturday night. It's not live, but hey, it's Memorex.
The show is back on Saturdays nights now, thanks to a short-lived Friday night schedule change which prevented me from listening in very often, but you can bet I'll be listening to the show stream online this weekend.
Last Friday night (Sept. 15), the crew was in rare form...I haven't laughed so much listening to the radio in a really long time...I think I laughed their asses off.
I tuned in when guest Andrea Foster, who teaches manifestation, had the phones on fire as Laurie was inundated with calls from male listeners wanting to see if they were a possible love match for Laurie and her sidekick Martha. Laurie was cajoling potential beaus to join her for a first date in the studio and have a reading by Andrea to see if they were a fit...who knows she may get her a Mr. Kendrick, yet.
As for me, I'm waiting to enter for their next super scary field trip.
